Turmeric extract, coloring food

Karow's turmeric extract gives your products a strong, lemon-yellow colour in an acid medium and a warm strongly yellow to orange-yellow colour in a neutral to alkaline medium.
It is very suitable for making ice cream, mousses, cream, many kinds of bakery products, fillings and marzipan. When selecting the dosage, please note that food colourings always have their own flavour.

  • A food colouring
  • A yellow, viscous liquid with the characteristic smell and taste of turmeric root
  • When spraying with an air brush, it may be necessary to dilute it with some water
  • Only light-stable to a certain degree
  • Not suitable for clear jellies
  • Remains stable when baked or frozen
